As you see food is good and reasonably priced
Tres Puntas is where we stop for just a night before crossing a sand bar at high tide into Livingston Guatemala.
This time we sailed behind the reef in Belize to get down to Livingston. This made the passage comfortable and safe.
Schooner could smell she was back in a familiar area. She got all happy and wouldn't stop smelling the air.
She for some reason loves the Rio Dulce.. not sure why except it was her first home with us.
While in the Rio we have been doing more little projects.. one was to remove a small spice shelf behind the stove to open it up for pot storage 🤗
Other projects were to turn an old quilt into large pillow cases to store extra towels and blankets
We also had a new front hatch cover made from our left over weather max material
Also had made side lee clothes for passages. It should help with sea spray and help Schooner feel safer when she needs to potty on her potty pad.
We use Elmer Rauda at Tapiceria El Cerro Verde
Steve has also been varnishing more items.. he has become an addict
We met this lovely couple on this gorgeous wooden Schooner.
Kirby and Christina Salisbury are writing amazing books about their adventures in Belize
We are currently experiencing a great opportunity to house sit for some ex-cruisers that have built a wonderful Rancho here in Guatemala.
This is Flaca.. she is such a sweet girl
She makes this sit a breeze
Well and the ability to do projects on Saga Sea such as clean cushions and rebed chainplates
Oh and finish old projects like this crochet laundry bag
And relax in a gorgeous place
Ugg but still has the Guatemala bugs
Well I think that is all for now.. we will be here for a few more weeks then we want to go explore more of Guatemala
Don't forget what I always say, be good to yourself and to Others
