Just to clarify each category,  Groceries contains anything we buy from grocery stores (including all household supplies, includes all eating out as well as alcohol.  Misc includes medical expenses such as medicine, insurance local transportation, clothing, gifts and so on..  I usually label big purchases such as flights or big boat projects

  2. I cannot tell you how happy I am to see someone doing this on such a small budget! We were beginning to wonder if we are being unrealistic, but clearly you guys are pulling it off. Thanks for sharing!
